reinventing my creative side!
Greetings! I live in Vermont with my husband Roderick and our four-legged son Mathias MacGregor, Rat Terrier extraordinaire. I was born in Montreal. I came to the United States in 1990. Roderick is a carpenter. I enjoy drawing and creating whimsical artwork with paper mache, wire, beads, and fabric. My parents were in the theater business so I grew up surrounded by theater sets and colorful folks. I studied Arts & Communications and designed shop and trade show displays, managed gift shops, offices and records until January 2009.
Roderick and I traveled across the US in an RV for over a year prior to settling back in Vermont. It was a fantastic journey. We love Scotland, home to his ancestors. This is where we were married. Each year, we attend Scottish Festivals where we spend three magical, music-filled days. We live very simply. We love silence and reading.
I began developing training tools and procedures as soon as I embarked on the working person's journey. This "habit" very naturally evolved into a career path. After developing records management systems and operations strategies for a large agency over the course of five years, I launched Paschal'Simon Consulting as the logical "next step", allowing me to expand the scope of tools I have developed and offer them to a variety of work environments.
Since the creative side of me also begs for expression, I subsequently launched Wee Services, in addition to Paschal'Simon Consulting, to offer a selection of creative services to individuals and businesses, consisting of Stuffed Toy Repair, Lamp Repair, Errand Assistance and Gift Wrapping Services.
I have extensive experience in the customer service and administrative support industries. I also have extensive experience managing tasks and projects. These are the skills I draw on every day. I am dedicated to quality of service and product and always ready to go the extra mile to solve problems in the best interest of employers, colleagues and clients. I am extremely organized and take all responsibilities to heart. I am known for my versatility, outstanding performance and as someone who consistently exceeds expectations.
I work equally well independently or collaboratively, in a leadership role or as a subordinate. There is no distinction in my book; each engagement is a commitment, one that deserves my full attention.
At your service,
Paschal'Simon MacMurray
