About Me

This has been a phenomenally momentous year for me with many positive changes and challenges.

I just completed a holistic massage therapy course of study and received my diploma on August 14th. The National Exam and subsequent license to practice massage within the State of Connecticut is pending.

In addition, drawing from my experience working for a builder/developer in Virginia, I began a General Contracting company, Artistic Curb Appeal, in Connecticut this year. My focus is on landscapes with sone masonry, water and sculptural elements, interior and exterior consultations, decorating and updating.

Plus, I am now an active partner in property investment.

For recreation, I develop festive events (or attend them) or follow other creative or artistic pursuits.

    This is pretty much self-explanatory. I have earned an income as an artist on and off since the age of 14. I became seriously involved as an artist in 1990 after moving back to Connecticut from Virginia. I opened numerous studios and earned a living as a freelance graphic artist and a portraitist. While my children were very young I put my studio work on the back burner, however, I am resurrecting a studio, as we speak, in the "Zen Room" of my new home. There will be some works on display in an upcoming portfolio.

I marketed model homes, performed secretarial work - everything but payroll, acquired permits through zoning, schmoozed with business people, vendors, suppliers and county administrators, and was the liason between the homebuyer and the land developer/home builder.
