I entered into the design field at an early age with Photoshop, because my mother worked at our local newspaper designing ads. That was Photoshop version 3, just to give you some perspective. I'd been bitten by the familial "design bug"! After that, I branched out into page design, logo creation, photography and Web design. I've come to believe there is great power wielded by the visual design of everything around us. Never has it been more important for designers to hone their skills and study their craft, in order to use the art of design to its fullest potential.

I recently graduated Magna Cum Laude from The University of South Dakota with a Bachelor of Science degree in Contemporary Media & Journalism. I'm currently seeking a permanent position in the graphic design, advertising, and marketing fields.
