"Juicy gossip to chuckle over" wrote one reviewer. This is the madcap tale of my life and love with screen legend, Lana Turner, over a ten year period from 1969 to 1979. I began as her personal assistant, but when she was offered $17,500.00 a week to do a six week tour of the play Förty Carats I changed my title from assistant to personal manager because I knew from experience it was the only way I could deal with the inherent problems to unfold -- and they did.
