Possessing an extensive professional background, Mr. William Begel brings over three decades of experience to his current role as a Certified Relocation Consultant for Victory Van Corporation. Well known among colleagues and clients for his extensive knowledge of the industry, William Begel is sought out to help clients with moves both within the United States and overseas. William Begel supplements his knowledge of relocation practices through his membership in the American Moving & Storage Association. Additionally, William Begel keeps up to date with the latest sales practices and techniques as a member of the Professional Sales Association. Formerly working for the United States Army Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Headquarters, William Begel served as the Director of the Armed Forces Sports Program. In this role, William Begel acted as Secretariat to the Armed Forces Sports Council and played an instrumental part in organizing affairs regarding world-class athletes from the military participating in national, international, and the Olympic games. William Begel spent 23 years with the United States Army in various sports and recreation-related capacities, including Director for the Americas to the International Military Sports Council, Director of the Army Golf Program, Army Sports Specialist, Director of Physical Fitness, and Sports Director. William Begel commenced his career as a junior high science teacher in the New Bedford, Massachusetts, school system. William Begel holds both a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and a Teaching Certificate from Averett College. Ever the sports enthusiast, William Begel maintains his interest in sports to this day with memberships in the Chantilly National Golf & Country Club and the United States Golf Association. William Begel also enjoys football, baseball, basketball, and tennis. A charitable man, William Begel enjoys helping others and has contributed significantly to the Andersen Orthopedic Research Institute. Mr. William Begel makes his home in Alexandria, Virginia.
